Sketchboard
Our sketchboard is a virtual workstation or canvas where you may sketch and experiment without using glyphs. It’s ideal for constructing drawings, breaking artwork into glyph shots, or just sketching logos and symbols with FontLab’s slick Bézier functionality. You may also arrange text frames to display several typefaces and then export the results as a PDF or SVG for testing.

Pixel photos may be dragged and pasted into a variety of formats, including monochrome, grayscale, full color, and transparency. To create interpolated instances or a variable OpenType (TT or new CFF2) font from one or more font masters, use Font Info to add axes and assign axis coordinates to each font master in your FontLab font.

Easily create instances for a huge font family or a dynamic typeface. Axis instances allow you to provide per-axis interpolation positions and style phrases, and FontLab will build a matrix of all instances for all axes, including style names and groups.
